Death of Peter hay
Mr. Peter Hay, an aged and respected citizen of Bethlehem township died very suddenly at his residence, very shortly after retiring to bed on Tuesday evening the 29th instant. His wife, who had retired with him, noticing that something was wrong with Mr. Hay, got up and immediately after she had lit a lamp he breathed his last, dying in less than half an hour af ter going to bed. His death was caused by apoplexy.

Mr. Hay was in the seventy-fifth year of his age. He leaves wife and ni ne children \endash Tilghman H., John Q. A., Elizabeth, wife of Edward Reaser; Sarah, wife of Hiram Schanbel, James W., George H. Edwin, Milton F., and Etna, wife of Owen Marsh. The funeral will be held on Monday morning at ten o'clock. Services at the Farmersville church.
