Douglas A. Dietz
Douglas A. Dietz, 20 years old, died yesterday at his home, 1229 Washingt on Street, after an illness of two years.

His only survivor is his mother, Mrs. Edith Young Dietz f Easton. He w as born in Bangor Feb. 24, 1922, a son of Mrs. Dietz and the late Harold D ietz.

He was a graduate from Easton High School in 1940. He liked sports and at tended most of the high school games. One of his chief hobbies was fishin g. He was a member of St. Paul?s Lutheran Church and Sons of the Legi on of Brown and Lynch Post No. 9, American Legion.

Funeral of Douglas A. Dietz
The funeral of Douglas A. Dietz, son of Mrs. Edith and the late Harold Die tz, of 1229 Washington Street, was held this afternoon at 2 o?clock at t he Shillinger Funeral Home, 801 Lehigh Street, with the Rev. E. P. Turnbac h, of St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment was in Easton Hei ghts cemetery. A guard of honor from the sons of the Legion stood by the c asket last evening when friends called at the funeral home to pay their re spects. Pallbearers were Donald young, Jack Seip, William Adam, George Hau pt, Merle Mabus and Russell Young.
