Eugene Schriner, 69, Stone Mason, War I Veteran.

Wilson Eugene (Gene) Schriner, 69, of 14th N. 21st., Wilson, died this mor ning in Easton Hospital. He was in ill health four months. He was hospita lized Sunday.

Mr. Schriner was a stone mason contractor. He was employed by F&J Mason Co ntractors and J. Kerns, both Bethlehem contractors. At one time he was em ployed by the American Home Modernizaton Co. He retied 4 ? years ago. Abo ut 25 years ago he was employed in the maintenance department at Lafayet te College for 12 years.

Mr. Schriner served in the Army during World War I.

Born in Bushkill Township, on June 12, 1892, he was a son of the late Pet er and Sarah Hawk Schriner. He moved to the Easton area in 1926.

Mr. Schriner was a member of the Wilson Democratic Club and Concordia Maen nerchor.

Surviving are his widow, the former Sarah Post; Five sons, Raymond and Geo rge, both of Easton, Eugene, Wilson; Robert, Las Vegas, Nev., and Jaems, w ith the U. S. Army in Eangland; three daughters, Dorothy, wifeof Harl an E. Woehrle Jr., Monrovia, Calif.; Erma, wife of Dominick Galasso, Las V egas, and Thelma, wife of Martin Werkheiser, at home. Three sisters, Eliza beth, wife of Emanuel Hawk, Easton; Eva, wife of Clayton Koeher, Northampt on, and Mary, wife of Wilmer Smoyer, Hecktown. 19 grandchildren and one gr eat-grandchild.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Katinis Funeral Chape l, Wilson.

The funeral of Wilson Eugene (Gene) Schriner, 69, of 14 N. 21st St., Wilso n, was held this afternoon at the Katins Funeral Chapel, Wilson. Mr. Schri ner died Saturday in Easton Hospital.

Rev. Hugh E. Kemper, pastor of First Moravian Church, officiated. Interme nt was in Easton Cemetery. The pallbearers were Raymond, George Eugene, R obert and James Schriner, his sons and James Louis Schriner, his grandson.
