He was born in Easton on June 25, 1885, a son of thelate Edward and Elizab eth Kotz Racener. He attended Easton schools and for 26 years he was assoc iated with the C. K. Williams? Quarries, North Delaware River road, of whi ch his father was foreman for many years. He is survived by his widow, and by one daughter, Marilyn Jane, Livi ng at home; also by a sister, Mrs. Nora Walters, of Ephrata, pa. He w as a member of St. Peter?s Lutheran Church, College Hill.
