Growing Belief of Suicide Theory
In the Case of Disappearance of Mr. Illick.

Waterloo, June 10 - no clue has yet been obtained as to the cause of the sudden disappearance of Charles F. Illick, who was last seen at hishome on Friday evening last. Today Jacob K. and Fred M. illick, borthers of the missing man, posted notices offering a reward of $50 for information that would lead to the recovery of their brother.

This morning there was a report, which could not be verified here, that a man answering to description of Mr. Illick had been seen leaving a barn in the town of Fayette several miles south of this village.

The significance of the finding of the missing man's watch, diamond and purse under hispill the morning when he was first missed is said to lie in remark made to one of his brothers, that, "if he should ever turn up missing, those valuables would be so found.

Since the death of his wife some years ago, Mr. Illick has lived alone, and as he is known to have brooded over his loneliness and to ahve been subject to despondency, tehre is agrowing belief here that suicide is the explanation of the disappearance. Leaving home only half clothed, it would sem likely that informaiton of his whereabouts would otherwise be received before this.
