Solt, church unit founder Mrs. Lillian M. Solt, 82, formerly of 1445 Linden St., Allentown, a found er of the Lehigh County Junior Christian Endeavor Society in 1917 and i ts first president for 12 years, died Monday in the Frederick Mennonite Ho me, Frederick, Montgomery County. She was the wife of Jacob C. Solt. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Irvin R. and Lilli an M. (Hoffman) Walp. Mrs. Solt also was a founder and teacher of the Dorcas Bible Class of Fir st Mennonite church, Allentown, for 42 years. She also was a past preside nt of its Women?s Missionary Society. Surviving with her husband are two sons, David C. a missionary in Mexic o, and Paul E., of Allentown; a stepbrother, Charles Walp of Tucson, and e ight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Calling hours will be 7 -9 p.m. Thursday in the Sell Funeral Home, 1145 Lehigh St. Allentown. | ||
