Irvin R. Walp
Irvin R. Walp, 82, of 1445 Linden St., Allentown, died yesterday noon at t he Allentown Hospital, after being hospitalized for two months.
Born in Springfield township, Bucks County, he was the son of the late Dav id B. and Lydia (Frankenfield) Walp.
Mr. Walp was a pioneer in the field of photography having served in that p rofession for 38 years. he had a studio at 213 N. 12th St., for many year s, one in Denver for five years and another in Myersdale for 24 year s. He retired six years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ida (Rhodes) Walp, one daughter, Mrs. Jac ob C. Solt, with home he resided; two sons, Willard W., Avondale, Charl es H., Tucson, Ariz. Three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and o ne niece. |
