Mrs. Mary Myers
Mrs. William Johnston of 432 West North Street, Bethlehem, received word of the death of her only sister, Mrs. Mary Myers, at her home, 1413 Capouse Avenue, Scranton, after an illness of a year.
She was well known in Bethlehem, having been born there, a daughter of the late Joseph and Franey Wolfe. Her husband, John Myers, preceded her in death a few years ago.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frank Watkins and Mrs. Al Bartz. The latters husband passed away only four months ago, and one grandchild, Ralph Bartz, of New York; also one sister, Mrs. William Johnston, and the following brothers, Herman Wolfe, of Graham Place, and Robert Wolfe of Prospect Avenue, Bethelhem. The funeral wil be held Wednesday.

Mrs. Mary E. Myers Dies at Family Home
Mrs. Mary Ellen Myers, widow of the late John Myers, died at the family home 1418 Capouse avenue, early yesterday morning following an illness of a short duration. She was well known i Green ridge where she made her home for many years. She was born in South Bethlehem, coming to this city 38 years ago.
Mrs. Myers was a charter member of Camp 66, Patriotic Order of Americans and an active member of the Zion Evenaglical Church. Tow daughters, survive, Mrs. Bessie M. Bartz and Mrs. Frank Watkins, of this city. |
