John H. Wolfe
John Henry Wolfe, a veteran employee of the Philadelphia and Reading Railway company, died on Friday afternoon at his home in Eastern Salisbury, aged 61 years. Death was due to apoplexy with which he was stricken on Monday. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Joseph and Franey, (nee Frankenfield) Wolfe. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Tillie (nee Vogel) Wolfe, three daughters, Mrs. Peter Hughes, Mrs. William Frey and Mrs. Joseph Thompson, all of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Meyers of Scranton, and Mrs. William Johnson of Bethlehem; two brother, Herman and Robert Wolfe, also of Bethlehem. Funeral services will be held at his late home on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. Interment will be made in Eastern Salisbury Jerusalem cemetery.
