Alfred Snyder
Death yesterdday morning called Alfred Snyder, who for a long tiem has been prominent in social and frateranl life in this city. For many months Mr. snyder has been suffereing with caner of teh stomach and became critically ill at his home, 126 North Eighth street, Thursday, veing admitted to teh Sacred Heart Hospital at 11 a.m. Thursday morning. All attempts to relieve his condiito failyed, and he passed away at 11 p.m. yesterday monring.
The deceased was born November 27, 1861, in Durahm township, Bucks County the son of Levi and Susannah, nee Jacoby, Snyder. His father and the follwoing brothers and sisters survive. Mrs. Jacob Young, Mrs. Samuel Brewer, Mrs. H. T. Barton, Mrs. Harvey Long, Mrs. Edgar Engler, all of Bethehem; M.J. Snyder of Nazareth, and David J. Snyder.
The deceased was married twice both wives and a son preceeding him in death. He was a member of Allentown Court No,. ii, Tribe of Ben Har Century Temple, Order of United Americans, Queen City Lodge, Sar of Bethlehem, the Lehigh Sac?gerb?nd and the Buffalos. |
