Elmer Breidinger, Long Supervisor, Dies in Hospital
Plainfield Township man Widely Known in this Area
Elmer E. Breidinger, a native of Plainfield Township and a resident of Eas ton R. D. 3, died at Easton Hospital at 9:50 last evening. He had been i ll for three months and was admitted to the hospital on March 28 for medic al treatment. His age was 74 years, four months and one day.

He was a son of the late Joseph and Sarah Schiffer Briedinger. For many he ars he served as road supervisor of Plainfield township and for two ter ms was oil inspector for Bucks, Lehigh and Northampton Counties for the Pe nnsylvania Highway Department.

He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Congregation, Plainfie ld township and was a former deacon, elder and treasurer of that churc h. He was also president of the Plainfield Cemetery board and was a memb er of Bangor Lodge No. 565, Free and Accepted Masons, and the Improved Ord er of Red Men at Belfast.

Mr. Breidinger also owned Breidinger's Grover, along the Bangor-Belfast hi ghway, where he resided.

He is survived by his widow, Alice Steinmetz Breidinger, one son, Flo yd H. Breidinger, general store proprietor, Nazareth, R. d. 3; two grandch ildren, one sisters, Mrs. Laura F. Rader, Nazareth R. D. 3.

Funeral on Thursday at 2 p.m. with brief services at late home. Continu ed services at St. Peter's Church Plainfield, at 2:30 with the Re v. L. B. Klick officiating and interment in adjoining cemetery.

Funeral of Elmer Breidinger
The funeral of Elmer E. Breidinger, of Nazareth R. D. 3, who died in East on Hospital on Sunday was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late h ome, with continued services in St. Peter's Church, Plainfield Township, w ith the Rev. L. b. Click officiating. Interment was in the family pl ot in the adjoining cemetery. The following associates acted as pallbeare rs: Charles Walters, Harvey Dietz, Walter Meyers, John Starner, Earl Acker man and Elmer Gum.
