He was retired employee of the Metropolitan Edison Co ., of this city, by whom he was employed for 28 years. He retired in 193 8. Prior to moving to Dover, he lived at Power House Crossing, anoth er of Bushkill Park. His widow, Mr. and Kahler, died in 1936. He was a s on of the late George Hl. And Henrietta Kahler. He is survived by his son, Stewart at whose home he died, two sisters, Mi ss Susan E. Haler and Mrs. Robert E. Buss, and a brother, Alvin E. Kahle r, all of Easton. The body will be brought to Easton for interment in Easton Heights cemeter y. Following services at the Ashton Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Easton Express, Easton, Pa, Wednesday, November 18, 1942, page 12 Funeral of Edward Kahler The funeral of Edward Lahler, who died Saturday at the home of his son, St ewart Kahler, at Dover, NJ, was held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Asht on Funeral Home, 1346 Northampton Street, The Rev. E. J. Heilman, past or of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, officiated and interment was made in Eas ton Heights Cemetery. The pallbearers were Harry J. Knauss, John J. smit h, Arthur S. Walters and Wilbert R. Creveling, follow employees at the Met ropolitan Edison Plant. | ||
