Irwin Brotzman
Irwin Brotzman, a well know merchant of the South Side, died after two wee ks' illness of a complication of diseases at home, No. 839 Wilkes-Barre St reet, at 12:25 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Brotzman passed his fifty-eigh th birthday on October 20, last. He was a native of Williams Township, a s on of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Brotzman. The deceased has been engag ed in the grocery business for the past twenty-five years. Formerly the re was associated with him in the business Asher Mutchler, the firm of Bro tzman & Mutchler being dissolved about four years ago and the business bei ng continued by Mr. Brotzman. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Chur ch and superintendent of the Sunday school for many years. Active in his c hurch, he served in the past in church offices, but was not an offic er at the time of his death. He was a member of Saranac tribe, No. 84; I. O.R.M; Tatamy council, No. 159, O.U.A.M, and also held membership in t he Y. M.C.A. and Retail Grocer's Protective association. The funeral wi ll be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the house, followed by services at the ch urch and interment in Hay's Cemetery.
