Robert Odenwelder, in this fifty-ninth year, died at his home, corner of S eventh and Lehigh Street, at 5 o?clock this morning. His fatal illness w as diabetes, from which he suffered for several months. He was a retired f armer and removed from Forks Township to Easton six weeks ago. His decli ne in health was very rapid and his massive form was wasted very much befo re death. Deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob B. Odenwelde r, of Palmer Township. Deceased was twice married. His first wife was Cath erine Ott, of South Easton, at whose demise he married Mrs. Sabina Sand t, of Forks, who survived him. One daughter, Mrs. E.J. Richards, of Easto n, by his first wife, is his only surviving child. Henry L. and Tilghm an Odenwelder, of Palmer Township, and A.J. Odenwelder of Easton, are brot hers, and Mrs. Enos Ott, of Easton, is a sister of deceased. He was a we ll known and respected citizen, and served in recent years as supervis or in Forks township. |
