Jacob Frankenfield
Jacob Frankenfield died Friday morning at 7:30 o'clock of heart failu re at his home, in Bethlehem, in the sixty second year of his age. Deceas ed had been ailing for years, but he was able to attend to his duties as w atchman at the Bethlehem Steel Works up to May 1 last. Mr. Frankenfield w as born in Bethlehem Township on June 2, 1843. The deceased's widow and t he following children survive; Mrs. Asher Von Steuben, of West Bethlehe m, Mrs. John Metzell, of East Allentown; George W. Frankenfield, and Herbe rt J. Frankenfield, of Bethlehem, and Preston Frankenfield, of Clevelan d, O.

Sudden Death in Bethlehem - Jacob Frankenfield, a citizen of Bethlehem, di ed suddenly on Christmas morning at his home, aged sixty years. Althou gh he had been iling since last mMay from asthma and a complication of dis eases, he was able at time to leave the house. On Christmas morning, wh en the choir of the Mennonite church serendaged him, he stood at the fro nt door and returned thanks. An hour or so later he was stricken with hea rt diesease and died. The deceased was born on June 2nd, 1843, in Bethleh em township, and was a son of the late John Frankenfield. Mr. Frankenfei ld was employed in the rail mill of the Bethlehem steel comany for over th irty years, his last position being that of a special police officer.

Chester Pa., Dec. 25 Jacob Frankenfield, Past Commander of J. K. Taylor Post. No. 182, G.A.R. died Suddenly here at the old homestead of heart diesease, superinduced by asthma. He was 60 years old.
