Bechtel Rodney E. Bechtel, 62, of 728 Elm St. Bethlehem, husband of Mrs. Mab el B. (Alspach) Bechtel, died Monday at his home. He was general foreman of electric construction for the Bethlehem Steel Co ., where he worked for 45 years. He lived in Bethlehem the last 20 years. Bechtel was a native of Allentown and a son of the late George W. and Lill ie L. (Frankenfield) Bechtel. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, of Allentown. Surviving with his wife are two sons, Rodney E. Jr., Cedar Grove, N.J., a nd Richard Allen, Elwyn; three grandchildren; a brother, G. Harold, Allent own, and a sister, Dorothy G. Bechtel, Allentown. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1624 Highla nd St., Viewing will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow. | ||
