Former Allen Woman Dies
Special to The Gazette

Allen, Aug. 12 - Mrs. Samuel Sloyer, of Paxico, a former Allen resident, d ied in a Topeka hospital Sunday morning. She had been a patient in the ho spital for five weeks.

Funeral services will be in the Allen Methodist church at 2 o'clock Tuesd ay afternoon. Rev. Chalmer Hopper will conduct the services. Burial wi ll be in the Allen cemetery.

Mrs. Sloyer is survived by her husband, Samuel Sloyer; two daughters, Mr s. Maude E. Schiesser, of Allen and Mrs. Doris Blankenship, of Topeka; a nd a son, Melvin Sloyer, of Topeka. She also is survived by a brother, A. E. Bates, of Allen.
