Easton Daily Argus, Tuesday, May 8, 1894

Josiah Walter, died yesterday morning at 8:20 o?clock on Pine street, ne ar Fifth aged sixty years. Deceased had suffered some time from dropsy, a nd a stroke of palsy. His wife died about fourteen years ago, from the eff ects of a burning accident at Fourteenth and pine Streets. Her name was M ary Ann Savitz. They are survived by these children; James Walter, of East on, John Walter of South Easton, Lewis Walter, residing in the West; Mr s. Frederick Grawitz, of Easton, and Mrs. Henry Krantz, of Palmer. Deceas ed leaves these brothers; Reuben Walter, South Bethlehem, Abraham Walte r, of Easton: Enos Walter, of Palmer and Mrs. William Knauss, of Easto n, a sister. His remains will be interred from the residence of his son Ja mes on Easton Heights.
