S. Lamar Hager, 81, of 47 Kenwood Circle, Quakertown, died Tuesday in Quak ertown Hospital. He was the husband of Rosalie (Tilson) Hager and the la te Mabel (Kline) Hager.

He ran a butcher route in the Allentown, Bethlehem and Quakertown area f or many years before retiring in 1965.

Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Samuel and Cora (Biehn) Hager .

Surviving with his widow are three daughters, Jean, wife of Rodney Clym er of Newtown, Loretta, wife of John Paul Nice of Telford, and Carol, wi fe of Frank Cunningham of St., Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Dei tz of Quakertown and Mrs. Ethel Ford of Lynchburg, Va.; five grandchildr en and five great-grandchildren.

Prayer services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the C.R. Strunk Funeral Hom e, 821 W. Broad St., Quakertown. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
