Granville Sterner, 84, of Brecknock Township, Berks County, formerly of Be dminster Township, Bucks County, died Saturday in Reading Hospital & Medic al Center, West Reading Township. He was the husband of Dorothy (Sine) Ste rner. They were married 61 years last March. He worked for the Renninger C lothing Factory, Quakertown, for seven years, retiring in 1977. Before tha t, he was a fitter for the former Fretz Clothing Factory, Bedminster, f or 45 years. Born in Weisel, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Dougl as N. and A. Laura (Frankenfield) Sterner. He was a member of Solomon's Un ited Church of Christ, Bedminster Township, where he was deacon of the con sistory for 12 years. Survivors: Wife; sons, Clifford R. of Hilltown Towns hip and Paul W. of Tinicum Township, Bucks County, Richard L. of Columbi a, N.C., and William D. of Brecknock Township; brother, Ralphus of Telfor d; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
