Born in Haycock Township, Bucks Count y, he was a son of the late Lewis and Diana (Frankenfield) Johnson. He w as a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kellers Churc h. Survivors: Son, Raymond of Quakertown; daughters, Esther, wife of Richa rd Peischel of Wilmington, Del., and Minnie, wife of John Scholl of Perkas ie; sister, Ruth Filburn of Quakertown; nine grandchildren and 13 great- g randchildren.
