James F. Johnson, 91, of 34 N. Ambler St., Quakertown, died Thursday in Qu akertown Community Hospital. He was the husband of the late Amanda May (Fr iling) Johnson. He was a molder at the former Krupp Foundry, Quakertown, f or 38 years before retiring in 1962. Born in Haycock Township, Bucks Count y, he was a son of the late Lewis and Diana (Frankenfield) Johnson. He w as a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kellers Churc h. Survivors: Son, Raymond of Quakertown; daughters, Esther, wife of Richa rd Peischel of Wilmington, Del., and Minnie, wife of John Scholl of Perkas ie; sister, Ruth Filburn of Quakertown; nine grandchildren and 13 great- g randchildren.
