Mrs. Rufus E. Miller
Mrs. Elsie Frankenfield Miller, 82, Pocono Pines, died yesterday at her ho me. She was the widow of Rufus E. Miller.
Born in Upper Black Eddy, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Aman da Frankenfield. She lived in Monrie County 60 years.
Mrs. Miller and her husband owned and operated the Noami Pines House fr om 1903 to 1845.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Pocono Lake, and a form er member of the board of ditectors of the Monroe County Children's Aid So ciety.
Survivors include a son, E. Rodger Miller, Pocono Pines; a daughter, Mr s. John S. Hensler, Bethlehem; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Charles, Upper Bla ck Eddy; Mrs. William Griffith, Gerndale and Mrs. harry Yawger, Mildfor d, N.J.; a brother, Abraham Frankenfield, Upper Black Eddy; six grandchild ren and give great-grandchildren. |
