Jacob Pursell, 86, Retired Reigel Emplyee
Jacob Pursell 86, Carpenter Street, Milford, N.J. died yesterday in Uni on Forge Nrusing Home, near Lebanon, where he had been a patient for thr ee weeks. He had been in Ill health for the past two months.

Born in Upper Black Eddy, the son of the late Sanford and Elizabeth Franke nfield Pursell, he had lived in Milford for the past nine years.

His wife, Nellie, died in 1964 and a son, Sanford in 1932.

Pursell was a retired superintendent in the heater room of the Riegel Pap er Corp., Milford, where he had worked for 48 years.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, No. 45, Easton, the Quart er Century Club of Riegel Paper Corp. and the Old Times Club of Riegel Rid ge. He attended the First United Church of Christ, Milford.

Survivors are seven sons, Austin and Earl, both of Upper Black Eddy; Charl es, Carl and Willard, all of Milford; Lawrence and Franklin V., both of Mi lford R. D.; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Abahazy, with whom he resided; 17 gran dchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Johnson Funeral Home, Chur ch Road, Spring Mills, Milford, R. D.

The funeral of Jacob Pursell, 86, Milford, N.J. was held yesterday afterno on at the Johnson Funeral Home, Spring Mills, Milford R. D. Mr. Pursell di ed Friday in Union Forge Nursing Home.

The Rev. Lionel Walker of First United Church of Christ, Milford, officiat ed. Interment was in Milford Union Cemetery. The pallbearers were Richa rd Javes, Clarence and Paul Pursell, Roger Williams, Earl Godown and Arli ng Fisher.
