William Pursell, Was Riegel Co. Superintendent
William Pursell, 74, died last night at the home of his son-in-law and dau ghter, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kiley, 110 Victory Blvd. Parkside, with wh om he resided three months.

Mr. Pursell was former night superintendent of the Warren Glen plant of t he Riegel Paper Corp. He retired In 1947 after 43 years service with the c ompany.

Born in Upper Black Eddy, he was a son of the late Sanford and Elizabeth F rankenfield Pursell. His wife the former Blanche Hunt, died before him.

He was a member of Presbyterian faith and a member of the Quarter Centu ry Club of Riegel Ridge.

Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Kiley, are five sons, George, West Porta l; Paul, Stewartsville; Clarence, Warren Glen; Kenneth, Phillipsburg, a nd Walter, Oaklyn, N.J.; two other daughters, Mrs. Jesse Stetser, Oaklyn a nd Mrs. Frank Gill, Delaware park; a brother, Jacob, Milford, N.J., and t wo sisters, Mrs. Jennie Williams, Upper Black Eddy, and Mrs. Flora Risel y, Milford, N.J. 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hagerty Colonial Hom e, Phillipsburg.

William Pursell
The funeral of William Pursell, 74, former night superintendent of the War ren Glen plant of the Riegel Paper Corp., was held this afternoon at the H agerty Colonial Home, Phillipsburg. Mr. Pursell died Wednesday at the ho me of his son-in-law and daughter, MR. and Mrs. Clyde Kiley, 110 Victory B lvd., Parkside.

The Rev. Roy C. Green, pastor of Wesley Methodist Church, Phillipsburg, of ficiated. Interment was in Riegelsville Cemetery, the pallbearers were Fr ancis, Paul, Clarence, and Frank Pursell, Donald Kiley and Elmer Risely.
