C. R. Muller Sr., Ex-Guard at W. E.
Claude R. Mullen, Sr., 79, a retired security guard, died yesterday at t he home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Landis of 3 03 W. Mountain Road, Allentown.

Mullen?s home was in Center Valley. He was born there a son of the late Fr ank W. Sr. and Leonora (Landis) Mullen. He had been residing with the Land ises two weeks due to an illness.

He was a member of Friedensville UCC and was a guard at the Western Electr ic Co plant in Allentown.

Surviving are two daughter, Kathleen, wife of Joseph Landis, of Allentow n, and Leonora, wife of Leo P. Barrett of Myerstown, Berks County, a so n, Claude R., Jr., station with the U.S. Navy at Boston, Mass.; a siste r, Lillian. Mullen of Center Valley and a brother, Frank W. Jr. of Harrisb urg; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Willard L. Gruver Funeral Hom e, Main and Oxford Street, Coopersburg, Viewing will be 7:30 -8:30 p.m. to morrow.
