Norman E. Danner Passes Away Suddenly
President of Rapid Service Ice Company Was in his 52nd Year
Norman E. Danner, 228 North Eighteenth Street, retired hotelman, died sudd enly yesterday morning at 6:15 o?clock at his home following an apoplect ic stroke. Mr. Danner was 52 years old.

Born in ?St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late William and Magdelina Da nner, he resided in Allentown, the greater part of his life. He was gradua ted from Allentown High School and the Dorney Business College.

At the time of his death, he was president and general manger of the Allen town Rapid Service Ice Company. Prior to the passing of the Volstead ac t, he had for a number of years conducted the Riverside hotel, across fr om the Lehigh Valley depot. During the years 1897-98, he was one of the pr ominent younger members of the Allen Wheelmen and belonged to the racing t eam.

Mr. Danner was a member of Zion Reformed Church. He was affiliated with t he Spanish American War Veterans, the B. P. O. Elks, No. 130; Loyal ord er of Sparrow, Nest No 1, and post L. T. P. A.

On December 12, 1901, Mr. Danner was united in marriage with Elizabeth Bau mer, of this city, who survived him with their two daughters, Mrs. Paul We ider, Allentown and Emily M. Danner, at home. A granddaughter, Jean Weide r; a sister, Mrs. harry Edwards of this city and a brother, Ralph Cann er of Baltimore, also survive.

Rev. S. Sipple will officiate at the funeral service which will be he ld at his late home, 228 North Eighteenth Street, on Tuesday afterno on at 2 o?clock. Friends may call on Monday night from 7 to 9 o?clock.
