Mrs. Hannah C. Weiant
Mrs. Hannah Christine Geiser Weiant, a lifelong and highly esteemed reside nt of Allentown, died last evening at 5:00 o?clock at the Sacred Heart hos pital of a complication of ailments from which she had suffered for sever al months. Mrs. Weiant who was in her 51st year, was taken ill the early p art of September and had been a patient of the hospital since December las t.
She was a daughter of Pauline H., nee Frankenfield, and the late Daniel Ge iser. She was born and lived all her life in the family home at 401 Nor th Sixth Street. Possessed of a lovable nature, kind and sympathetic towa rd her neighbor and of devout Christian character, Mrs. Weiant made a lar ge circle of friends among whom deep sorrow is felt with her passing. S he was a faithful member of Zion Reformed church and of the Dubbs Bible cl ass of Salem Reformed Church. She was also affiliated with Lady Li9ncol Re becca Lodge, No. 72, I.OO> F, Mrs. Weiant graduate from the Allentown Hi gh School with the class of 1897.
Her father died thirty-six years ago. Besides her aged mother, she leav es to mourn her passing a daughter, Mrs. Henry Smith and two sisters, Mr s. Alfred Clare and Mrs. Van Buren Raber, all of this city. |
