Samuel A. Campbell
Samuel A. Campbell died in Washington, D. C., on Sunday morning. He w as a native of Pleasant Valley, Bucks County, and served three years duri ng the War or the Rebellion in the 104 Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer s, commanded by Colonel W. H. H. Davies. Later he served with Hancock?s O ld Legion. After the war he moved to Virginia, where he farmed a plantati on of six hundred acres. Later he engaged in mercantile pursuits in Leesb urg, Va. The deceased was a brother of J. A. Campbell, of South Bethlehe m, George A., of Allentown, Edward of Springtown, and John A. of Williamsp ort. Six children survive him.
