Haas, 100 Years Old, Ill Five days. Mrs. Tillie C. Haas, who celebrated her 100th birthday anniversary last O ct 4, died yesterday at her home, 420 N. 8th St., Allentown. She had been ill since Tuesday. Until that time, Mrs. Haas kept acti ve by doing her own cocking, baking and cleaning. Mrs. Haas was born at Chapman?s Station, a daughter of the late Lewis a nd Mary ( Amey) Eisenhard. She lived at the N. 8th St. address the last 70 years. She was one of the oldest members of Salem United Church of Christ. Her husband, Calvin M. Haas, died at the age of 91 in 1963. They had be en married 67 years. Her only survivors are nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son in inf ancy. Nine sisters and four brothers. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Salem UCC Church. Calling hou rs will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1820 H ighland St, and at the church Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. | ||
