Lewis Browning, 77, of 1440 Walnut St., Allentown, died Saturday, Ju ly 6, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Lorre ta M. (Hartz) Browning. They were married 50 years last month.
He was a punch press operator at the former L.F. Grammes and Son, Allentow n, for 15 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Lewis and Evelyn A. (Acker) Br owning Kreseg.
He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Mediator, Allentown.
FOR THE RECORD - (Published Tuesday, July 09, 1996) Lewis Browning, 7 7, of 1440 Walnut St., Allentown, who died Saturday, was the husband of Lo retta M. (Hartz) Browning and a son of the late Lewis Browning and Evel yn A. (Acker) Browning Kresge. His wife's first name and parents' surnam es were incorrect in Monday's obituary.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
