Teh remains of Charles E. Gable, brother of Harry Gable, of marion, were interred Thursday afternoon in Park Cemetery where the latter owns a lot. Mr. Gable died Sunday night in a Vossburg, Mississippi, hospital.

CHARLES E. GABLE, A FORMER RESIDENT, DIES IN ST. LOUIS

Charles E. Gable, an old-time resident of this city, died somewhat suddenly a few dajs ago in St. Louis, acording to advices received in this city today. The deceased, in the early days, was a bookkeeper for the film of Casey & Brophy, and afterwards engaged extensively in mining operations in Idaho. About seven years ago he left the city. His health became impaired six months ago. and he sought advice at the Mayo brothers institution at Rochester, Minn,, but after a very thorough investigation of his case he was informed that his trouble was beyond permanent relief. He traveled extensively through Mississippi afterwards, and a few days ago, on arriving at St. Louis, he was compelled to take his bed, dying in a few hours.

The deceased was about 55 years of age, and is survived by a wife, but no children. He bad many friends in this city, who will be grieved to learn of his death.
