George P. Sandt
George P. Sandt, 65 years old, of Stockertown, died suddenly at 7 o?clo ck last night of a heart attack while at work at the Sunny slope Farm, deh ydration plant operated by H. S. Shafer, near Bath. Mr. Sandt was employ ed as a foreman in this county of the State Highway Department for 23 year s. until three years ago, being unemployed since that time until starti ng on his new position about an hour before being stricken. He was a memb er of Forks Salem Church, Lutheran congregation, Forks Cemetery Company a nd Forks Valley council 276, Jr. O.U. A. M., Tatamy.

Mr. Sandt was born in Forks Township, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Ko tz Sandt. He was twice married, his first wife, Mrs. Mary J. Kocher San dt dying in December 1926 and his second wife, Mrs. Lizzie Kocher Sandt, d ying in November 1937.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leon E. Christie, at home; a son Marsha ll J. Sandt, of Tatamy; three grandchildren; two brothers, John Sandt, Eas ton R. D. 1 and Charles Sandt, Easton and a sister, Mrs. William Nause, Be thlehem.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., with all services at the ho me in charge of the Rev. Luther A. Gruver, with burial in the family pl ot in Forks Cemetery.

Rites for George P. Sandt
The funeral of George P. Sandt was held this afternoon from his home in St ockertown. The Rev. Luther A. Gruver, pastor of the Lutheran Congregati on of Forks Salem Church officiated. Interment amid beautiful floral tribu tes was in Forks cemetery.

The following were pallbearers, Henry Uhler, Leonard Walter, Edward Sand t, Alvin Danner, Howard Smith and Walter Campbell.
