Mrs. E. G. Rupert
Mill Hall -- Mrs.Mary Ellen Rupert, 73, who became ill during the night, died of a stroke at 6:10 a.m. today in the Lock Haven Hospital.

Coroner R. LeRoy Bryerton certified the cause of death as a cerebral vascular accident. mrs. Rupert entered the hospital at 1:05 a.m in a critical condition, after having become ill suddenly at her home.

A native of Flemington, and the daughter of Reuben and Sarah Gingery Frankenfield. Mrs. Rupert had lived here 50 years. Her husband, Elsworth G. Rupert, died in 1932. For many years she lived in Mill Hall, with a son, Richard D. Rupert, now of Altoona.

When he moved to Altoon after closing the Sylvania Electric Products Inc. plant, she made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Robert J.Miller, 25 Main St.

She leaves another son, Raymond G. Mill Hall, and three daughters, Mrs. Albert Torsell, Springfield, O.; Miss Alice, Mill Hall and Mrs. Paul Esenwin, Mill Hall R. 0; also 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
