Miss Allie Knecht
Miss Allie Knecht, 83 years old, widow of Harry Knecht, formerly of Easto n, died on Monday morning at room all, Delaware County, pa. Death was d ue to coronary thrombosis and she had been ill for a week.
Mrs. Knecht was born in Phillipsburg a daughter of the late Dr. EW and t he late Elmira Rose Bogardus.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Cora Weiss, of Broomall and Mrs. The Wes R eimer, widow of JC rhymer, of 52 south fifth street, Easton, and a brothe r, Dr. OC Bogardus, of Keyport New Jersey. She was a member of centena ry Methodist church, Philadelphia.
The body will be brought to this city for funeral services and interment.
Her husband, the late Harry Knecht, was formally a conductor on the Lehi gh valley railroad and the family resided at 35 South Fifth Street. Mr. K necht was graduated from Lafayette College in 1878 and died on Octob er 9, 1930. |
