Walter S. Stocker, 68, a life-long resident of Bangor, died early this mor ning at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Stocke r, 650 South High Street, Bangor. He was a son of the late Abram and Eliza beth Dreher Stocker, and was a painter and paper-hanger by occupatio n. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church; and Second Wa rd Fire Company, Bangor.

Survivors are four children; Russell Stocker, Easton, James, of Bangor, wi th whom he resided; Mrs. Ralph Horn, Bangor R. D. 2; Walter Jr., U. S. Nav y, Burrwood, La.; seven grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Roy Labar, of Ban gor.

Rites for W. S. Stocker
Funeral services for Walter S. Stocker, of Bangor, who died yesterday wi ll be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the Hough funeral home, 50 Broadway, B angor, with the Rev. J. Frederick Stolte, Ph. D., of Trinity Lutheran Chur ch, Bangor, officiating. Interment will be in St. John?s cemetery, Bangor.
