Michael Bunstein
Michael Bunstein, a well known Eastonian, died at his home, No. 718 Bushkill Street, this city, at 1:55 o'clock Monday night of phlegmitts, in the s eventy first year of his age. He was confined to his bed with the disea se for the past three weeks. Deceased was a native of Easton, and a son of the late Aaron and Rachel Bunstein, long since deceased. In the Civil War he served as a color-sergeant in the 153rd regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was a blacksmith by trade and at the time of his death he w as engaged in the flour and feed and general grocery business, at No. 7 07 Wood Street, this city.
Mr. Bunstein is survived by his widow, a son, John J. Bunstein, of Easto n, and these daughters Mrs. Stewart Cougle, of Easton; Mrs. Howard Kin g, of the South Side; Mrs. Thomas Bachman, of the South Side, and Mrs. Har ry Phillippe, of Easton. Two half brothers also survive; John and George Barnet, of Easton.
Deceased was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church. The funeral will ta ke place from his late home on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment in the Easton heights Cemetery. |
