Former Garage Owner
Clayton P. Hinkel, 76, of 1420 Richmond Road, Forks Township, died this morning at Easton Hos-
pital shortly after admission.
Mr. Hinkel retired from the compressor department of the Ingersoll-Rand Co. in 1961 after 23 years. Prior to that he owned a garage business on Front Street in Easton.
Born March 29, 1896 in Forks Township, he was the son of the late Wesley & Mary Young Hinkel.
He was a member of Forks United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his widow, the former Helen Bender; 2 daughters, Mrs. Raymond C. Kieffer, of Barbou, Wisc., and Mrs. Stephen A. Kupcha, of Palmer Township; 3 sons, George R. R., of Tulsa, Okla., Joseph W., of Forks Township, and Rolland R., of Palmer Township; 2 sisters, Mrs. Floyd Osterstock and Mrs. Jack Brown, both of Carpentersville, NJ; 11 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild.
His 1st wife, the former Lucetta Lundsten died in 1964.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Clements Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be
in Easton Cemetery. |
