Sylvia H. Spahits, 81, of 890 Wintergreen Road, Palmerton, formerly of 3961 Mountain View Drive, Danielsville, died Thursday, Sept. 26, in her home. She was the wife of the late John C. Spahits.
She was a sewing machine operator for Cesare's Apparel, Danielsville, until retiring.
Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Sarah (Gruver) Rabenold.
She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Palmerton.
Survivors: Daughter, Joan S. Greene of Palmerton; sons, James D. Spaihts of Ewing, N.J., and Larry H. Spaihts of Northampton; sister, Mrs. Una Herman of Catasauqua; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday.
