Mrs. Carmi A. Johnson
Mrs. Mamie S. Johnson, 70, wife of Carmi A. Johnson, of 519 S. 25th
St., Palmer Township, died last night at 8:35 o'clock in Easton Hospital.
She had been in failing health for the last four years, and was admitted
to the hospital on Tuesday.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Plainfield Township, Northampton County,
the daughter of the late James and Ellen Walter. She lived in Palmer
Township for the last 10 years, residing previously for 23 years in
Wilson. She was amember of Memorial Evangelical and Reformed Church,
and Easton Chapter 214, Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Clyde
Messinger, of Tatamy; a son, Norman W. Johnson, of Palmer Township;
three brothers, Horace Walter, of Nazareth; David Walter, of Nazareth
R.D. 3, and Francis Walter, of Easton R.D. 2, and three granddaughters.
