Rudy J. Dech
Rudy J. Dech, of Northampton R. 1, died Wednesday night in his home. He w as 89.

Dech was a retired farmer, Born in East Allen Township, he was a son of t he late James and Anna (Unangst) Dech. He was the husband of the former Li zzie Smith.

He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Seemsville.

Surviving besides his widow are a son Warren, Northampton R. 1; three daug hters, Mrs. Mazie Hess, Northampton; Mrs. Ruth Diehl, Bath, and Mrs. Gra ce McRell, Northampton R. 2, 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Bartholomew Funeral Home, 2 43 S. Walnut St., Bath. Viewing will be 7-8:30 p.m. tomorrow.

Rudy J. Dech, 89, died last night at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Warren J. Dech, Northampton R. D. 1.

Born Aug. 15, 1873, in East Allen Township, he was a son of the late James and Anna Unangst Dech.

Mr. Dech was a retired farmer in East Allen Township.

He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Seemsville.

Survivors include his widow, Lizzie Smith Dech; three daughters, Mrs. Mazie Hess, Northampton; Mrs. Ruth Diehl, bath, and Mrs. Grace McRell, Northampton R. D. 2; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bartholomew funeral Home, Bath.

The funeral of Rudy J. Dech, 89, of Northampton R. D. 1, was held yesterd ay afternoon at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Bath, Mr. Dech died Wednesd ay at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Warren J. Dech .

Rev. Janes Ishler of St. Peter's United Church of Christ Church, Seemsvill e, officiated. Interment was in St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Seemsvill e. The pallbearers were Arthur C. Diehl Jr., Daniel Diehl, James and Al ex McRell, Clark P. Smith Jr., and Lester Thomas.
