Samaritan Dech
Samaritan Dech, a well know farmer, of Beersvile, died Saturday morni ng at 7 o'clock at his home that place of a complication of diseases ag ed 63 years. He was born near Bath, a son of James and Anne (Nee Unangs t) Dech. He followed farming during the greater part of this life, and w as widely known in this section of the state.
He is surived by his widow, Rosie C. Dech, (nee Silfies), four daughters a nd four sons; Mrs. Frank Smith of Nazareth; Mrs. Henry Schlegel and Mrs. S tanley Frack, of Bath; Miss Mary Dech, of Easton; Rev. Quillas A. Dec h, of Beatrice, Neb.; Herbert A., of Seemsville; Preston J. Of Idaho Fal ls and Floyd H. of Salt Lake City, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Jacob Danne r, of Easton; four brothers, Oscar, of Bethlehem; Elmer J. Dech, of Easto n; Rudy, of Bath, and Dr. Schuyler H. Dech, of Easton,. Fifteen grandchild ren also survive.
The funeral will be held from his late home near Beersvile on Thursd ay at 1:30 p.m. Services and burial at Petersville Church. |
