Dr. S. H. Dech Dead at 52
Well Known Physician, of This City, passes Away in Hospital
Dr. Schuyler Henry Dech, a well known physician of 1836 Northampton Stree t, Wilson Borough, died at 8:35 this morning in the Easton Hospital, ag ed 52 years. He as admitted to the hospital on Wednesday for medical treat ment.

Dr. Dech was born at Bath, this county on August 1, 1879, and was a s on of the late James and Lucinda Unangst Dech. After completing a cour se in the public schools, he studied under Professor Asa K McIlhaney and t hen entered East Stroudsburg State Teachers College, from which he was gra duated in 1897. He then entered Ohio Medical College Cincinnati Ohio a nd was graduated in 1901 with the degree of Doctor of Medicine. After a ye ars experience gained as a interns at Seaton Hospital, Cincinnati, Dr. De ch gave another year to private clinics devoted to disease of the eye, ea r, nose and throat.

From 1901 to 1904 he was engaged in private practice in Allentown and in t he last named year he moved to this city and succeeded to the practi ce of the late Dr. Oliver E. E. Arndt, was since been located to this ci ty with office on South Third Street and South Fourth Street. He mov ed to Wilson Borough three weeks ago.

Dr. Dech was a member of the Northampton County Medical Society, the Penns ylvania State medical and the American medical Societies. He was a memb er of Easton Lodge, No. 152, F. And A. M.; Easton Chapter, No. 172, Roy al Arch Mason, Pomp Council, Royal and Select Master Masons; Hugh DePaye ns Commandery, No. 19, Knights Templar; Rajah Temple, Nobles of the Myst ic Shrine, Reading; Easton Lodge No 15, Loyal Order of Moose and the
