Retired Teacher Dies, aged 77
Harry F. Rader, former Allentown resident and retired school teacher di ed yesterday at his home in Ackermanville where he lived for six year s. He was 77.

Born in Bushkill Township, a son of the late Amandus and Susan (Messinge r) Rader, he started teaching school when he was 15 and retired in 1922 wi th his last teaching assignment in Forks Township.

He attended Kutztown State Teachers college and Franklin & Marshall and La fayette colleges. He was a life member of Belfast Evangelical Reformed chu rch where he served at various times as deacon and elder. He lived in Alle ntown before moving to Ackermanville.

Surviving are his wife, the former Emma E. Savitz, five children; Mrs. Ber tha Laubach Sell at home, Earl and paul of Allentown, Jacob of Bethlehe m, and Mrs. Clayton Shimer of Ackermanville; 16 grandchildren, five gre at grandchildren, three sisters and a brother; Franklin and Mrs. George Li eberman of Allentown, Mrs. William Siegfried of Kingston, Pa., and Mrs. Am brose Meyers of Emmaus.

Rev. William H. Brong will officiate at services at 2:30 p. m. Saturd ay at the F. W. Schmidt mortuary, 357 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Burial wi ll be in the family plot at Belfast Union Cemetery.
