Etta P. Drinkhouse, city water billing cleark
Etta P. Drinkhouse, 97l, 714 Burke St., died Monday, March 22 in her home.

She was a billing clerk for the City of Easton Water Department from 19 48 to 1968, from which she received a certificate of appreciation for h er 20 years service. Prior to that, she was a clerk in the Veterans Ser i ce Center in Easton from 1945-1948, and a secretary for the late Judge Edw ard J. Fox.

Born Sept 1, 1895, in Easton she was a daughter of the late David C. and L illie J. Buss Lerch.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Easton, where she was a f ormer Sunday School teacher.

She was a 1913 graduate of Easton High School.

During World War II she was a Red Cross Volunteer in Easton.

She worked with the D. A. Hatch in preparing the Lafayette College Biograp hical Catalog.

Her husband, W. Bruce Drinkhouse, died in 1942.

She is survived by two sons, W. Bruce Jr. with whom she lived, and Dav id F. of Bethlehem, two grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the church, 333 Spring Gard en St., Easton. The Ashton Funeral home, 14th and Northampton St., Easto n, is handling arrangements.

The family requests memorials to the church.
