Alvin Babp, 94, Retired Forks Poultry Farmer
Alvin Babp, 94, a life-long resident of Forks Township, died last nig ht at his home.
Mr. Babp was a poultry farmer for many years, retiring in 1956. He w as a charter member and the oldest member of Faith Lutheran Church, For ks Township, and a charter member of Northampton Farm Bureau Association.
His wife, the former Elmira Simons, died in 1959.
He was a son of the late Jeremiah and Mary Kemmerer Babp.
Surviving are two sons, Harold A. Sr., and Marvin G., both of Easton R. D 1; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A daughter died in in fancy.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in t he Schmidt Mortuary, Naz areth.

The funeral of Alvin Babp, 94, Easton R. D.1, was held this afternoon at t he Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth. Mr. Babp died Thursday at his home.
The Rev. Otto D. Struckmann of Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Township, offi ciated. Interment was in Forks Cemetery. The pallbearers were Arlo and Pau l, Harold A. Babp Jr. and William Loomis. |
