Resident Mrs. Elmira Babp, 82, wife of Alvin Babp, Easton R. D. 1, died at 6:15 p. m. yesterday in Easton Hospital. She was admitted June 1 after sufferi ng a fractured hip in a fall at her home. Mrs. Babp was born in Plainfield Township on Sept 2, 1876, a daughter of t he late William and Mary Frankenfield Simons. She resided in Forks Townsh ip since 1908. She was engaged in Truck and poultry farming with her husb and. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Harold A. Babp, a nd Marvin G. Bapb, both of Easton R. D1; four grandchildren and four great -grandchildren. A daughter, May , died in infancy, and a brother, Howard S imons of Wind Gap, died before her. The funeral will be held at the F. W. Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth, on Sund ay at 2 p.m. Easton Express, Monday, June 29, 1959, Page 10 Mrs. Alvin Babp The funeral of Mrs. Elmira Babp, 82, Easton R. D.1, was held yesterday aft ernoon at the F. W. Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth. Mrs. Babp died Wednesd ay in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of the Alvin Babp. The Rev. Clarence L. Roth, pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Townshi p, officiated. Interment was in Forks Church Cemetery. The pallbearers we re Harold Babp. Jr., Arlo and Paul Babp, grandsons, of Mrs. Bapb, and Will iam Loomis, her grandson-in-law. | ||
