Harold A. Babp Sr., 91, of Kesslerville Road, Forks Township, died Mond ay in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Gennieva (Nisky) Gray Babp a nd the late Elsie (Graver) Babp.
He was a service manager for the former Kendall-Ewan Motor Co., later call ed the Dockery Co., 18th and Butler streets, Wilson, for 36 years, retiri ng in 1960. He was also a tax collector for Forks Township for 26 years.
Born in Tatamy, he was a son of the late Alvin and Elmira (Simons) Babp.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Township.
He was a 32nd degree Mason with Dallas Lodge 594, Easton.
Babp was one of the first organizers and was past president of the Forks T ownship Volunteer Fire Company.
Survivors: Wife; son, Harold Jr. of Forks Township; daughter, Shirley, wi fe of William Loomis of Ormond Beach, Fla., and two grandchildren.
