Evan H. Young
Evan Henry Young, 83, a retired printer of 138 South Tenth street, di ed at 6:50 o?clock last night at Easton Hospital. He was admitted to t he hospital on Saturday for medical treatment. He had been ill for eig ht weeks.
Mr. Young was born in Easton R. D., on Nov. 24, 1861, a son of Charles Wil liam and Susanna Savitz Young. For many years he was employed in differe nt printing establishments in Easton and up to the time of his death, he w as secretary of Easton Typographical Union. No. 258. He was also a memb er of Penn Castle, Knights of the Golden Eagle, of Hellertown and St. Pete r?s Lutheran Church, Easton.
His wife, Mrs. Katherine Warner Young, survive him with one daughter, Mr s. Edith S. Dietz; two sons, Raymond C. Young, Easton and Russell W. Youn g, Patterson, N.J; one sister, Mrs. Anna Carey, Easton, and two brother s, Edwin F. Young and George F. Young, both of Easton; one step-son, Milt on W. Dalrymple, of Easton, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren . |
