Raymond Young, I-R Employee for 59 Years.
Raymond C. Young, 83, of 627 Parsons St., died last night in Warren Hospit al after a long illness.
Mr. Young was a foreman at the west Easton plant of the Ingersoll-Rand C o. in West Easton and later was chief plant guard at the Phillipsburg pla nt of Ingersoll-Rand. He was with the company 59 years, retiring in 1962.
Born Jan 22, 1886 in Easton, he was a son of the late Evan and Clara Frank enfield Young. His wife was the late Hope Overfield Young.
He was a member of St. Peter?s Lutheran church, Easton; the old Fellows Lo dge in Easton and Bethlehem, the Chrysanthemum Club, Nazareth, and the Hol e-in-one Club.
Survivors include a son, Donald R., Forks Township, manager of the bure au of Employment Security office at Easton; four grandchildren and 10 grea t-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Shillinger Funeral Hom e, Easton. Interment will be Easton Heights Cemetery. |
