Charles W. "Bill" Kichline Sr., 88, of Williams Township, died Fe b. 24 in ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Township. He was the husba nd of Eva (Pfister) Kichline, who died in 1996.
He worked for Ingersoll Rand Co., Phillipsburg, for more than 50 years bef ore retiring.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Archie E. and Bessie (Knoble) Kic hline.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church (New Williams), Williams Tow nship, a former choir member, Sunday school teacher for 20 years and counc il and cemetery board member.
He was a member and past master of Prosperity Masonic Lodge 567, Riegelsvi lle. He was a member of Rajah Temple, Reading; Easton Forest 35, Tall Ceda rs of Lebanon; Forks of the Delaware High Twelve Club 591; Lehigh Consisto ry, Allentown, and the Lions Club, Williams Township.
Survivors: Sons, Charles W. Jr. of Williams Township, John L. and Jeffr ey P., both of Easton; daughter, Gladys P. Eckhart of Nazareth; 15 grandch ildren, 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Thomas A., a nd a daughter, Carroll E. Walter.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Strunk Funeral Home, 602 W. Berwick St., Ea ston. Call 7-9 p.m. Friday.
